So, here you are, thinking you are ready to start your first cycle. You have heard all the media's horror stories about what anabolics do to destroy your body as well as all the conflicting information your friends, the "big guy at the gym", your buddies best bro's cousin who is so freakin huge he is about to go Pro and the various websites have to offer.... SO, the question is, Where Do you Start?!?!! Well, here is a simple breakdown of a beginner cycle. I wont cover tons of compounds cause thats what the profile section is for. So basically, the principle behind cycling is simple. Testosterone is the building block for our muscle growth/recovery. Yes, I know DIET is the key to everything, be we should assume that if you THINK you are ready to cycle, your diet, for damn sure, better be spot on. Anabolics are not a bandage for poor diet or training, they are used to break through the barriers we reach in our genetic natural potential. So back on track TESTOSTERONE.... Once we have reached our natural potential, how do we break through this barrier and still develope and grow our muscles to get bigger, stronger, faster, more efficient, recover faster and all those good things we desire. The answer is simple, add more testosterone than what your body naturally produces. The easiest way to do this is with IM (Intra-Muscular) injections of exogenous testosterone. I wont go in depth about all the different tests or combo gear because, again, thats what the profile section is for. For our simple explanations, we will look at the 3 most commonly used testosterone 1) Testosterone Enanthte (active life 13-14 days) 2) Testosterone Cypionate (active life 16-18 days) 3) Testosterone Propionate (active life 48-72 hours) Test E and C are both long esterred tests and Test P is a short esterred test. The ester is what determines how long the test is active in your body. The shorter the ester, the quicker the actual steroid is used by the body. This sounds great, but the downside is the need for frequent injectons on short esterred compounds with the dosing protocol in the 24 to 48 hour range, more commonly quoted as ED (every day) or EOD/E2D (every other day/every 2nd day). This is where the longer esterred Test E or C come into play. They can be injected as little as once per week with recommended injection protocol of twice per week (every 3.5 days) to keep blood levels as stable as possible to make it more efficient for gains. There is always a downside though. Long esterred compounds may require less injections, but in turn they take much longer to start showing their results. On average, most of the users I have talked to find the following time frames for results Test Prop: roughly 7-10 days to notice libido increases and 14-20 days for noticable gains Test Enan or Cyp: roughly 14-21 days for a libido increase and noticable gains to start in the week 4 to 5 range Q?...So why is it that if the active life of Prop is up to 3 days do we have to inject minimum every 2 days and test E or C is over 2 weeks but we have inject twice a week? A...Simple answer, to keep blood levels stable. Stable blood levels lower the chance of those unwanted side effects like bloat, acne, gyno. Just because the compound is active for X number of days doesnt mean it keeps the same concentration the entire time (this is where half lifes come in but this isnt science class). So what have we learned? 1) test is what makes us men and helps us do good things that our natural body couldnt on its own. 2) test comes in many varieties with esters attached for time specific release to meet our cycle requirements 3) keeping stable test/blood levels is key to efficiently building muscle, recovery and preventing the unwanted side effects from becoming worse Q?...And what does a basic cycle look like? A ...Test, test test And why do we use just test when there is a plethora of other compouds out there? 1) Easy, its what the body has naturally so its a great starting point 2) Other compounds are VERY suppressive to your body and can shut down your HPTA wth a single dose 3) If we start with a single simple compound we get to know and understand how our body reacts to this ONE compound. If we run a multi-compound cycle and have an unforeseen reaction, which substance is it that caused this problem and which of those compounds do we avoid next cycle? Back to a basic beginner cycle and most often it is based on a longer ester test (E or C) so the first time cycler can get use to the injection protocol. Typically this will be run for 10-12 weeks. Basic beginner cycle week 1-10 (or 12) Test Enan or Cyp @ 4-500mg/wk NOW IS THAT AMAZING OR WHAT?!?!! With proper diet and training you WILL see amazing results from this simple and effective cycle. ****Now... Please dont think you are some exceptional case and that the word "beginner" in that cycle means that it is way below you to start where other "lesser" beings make their anabolically enhanced lifestyle debut. It doesnt matter if your best bro, the freakiest monster at your gym, the Pro's of Mr. O or especially the guy selling you your gear say that a cycle like this is for Pvssy's and you are ready for the big time so a SUPER STACK is in order. DONT KID YOURSELF, safety should be your main concern and no one else knows how your body will respond to anabolics. Ever wonder why anabolic users get such a negative stereotype in the media who portray all those nasty negative images of society getting harmed by the use of a compound commonly prescribed by the medical world to correct problems caused by the body no longer producing enough of that EVIL compound? And why all these other anabolics that were essentially created to save the lives of cancer and burn victims and anemic patients and a multitude of other diseases that can be controlled, reversed or healed with the use these aforementioned EVIL substances but are still considerred harmful to the human body? Answer...there is always a WRONG way to do things!!! End Rant, you get the point So now you see what a basic anabolic cycle looks like, time to start cycling... right?...? Lets see, the added test will help with your gains, but wait... doesnt your body like to keep things in balance? So how does your body respond to an increase in testosterone? Thats right, by producing its antagonist to keep the balance, black on white, yin meets yang, and now you have an overabundance or estrogen in your body. Calm down, this is easly controlled by what is called an Aromatase Inhibitor or shortformed for our convenience AI. These include such items like (see profiles section for appropriate dosing)... Arimidex (anastrozole) Letrozole (femera) Aromasin (exemestane) ...to name a few. These actually block the aromatase enzyme which is responsible for estrogen sythesization thus controlling the amount of excess estrogen being produced and therefore helping to promote the stoppage of ERSE (estrogen related side effects) such as acne, bloat and gyno (bitch tits) Q?Ok, so we know what a basic cycle looks like, we learned how to control on cycle estrogen rebound... so now are we ready to cycle? A... yes, you are ready to cycle... but answer me this...... after you buy your anabolics (gear), buy tons of good food and find a way to stuff it all down to make sure we are well nurished for our massve growth, train like theres no tomorrow while breaking all our old lifting max's, take all of our expensive multi-vitains, minerals, creatine and suppliments... basically eat, sleep and train muscle building... WOULDNT IT BE NICE IF WE KEPT OUR GAINS AFTER WE FINISH OUR CYCLE?!?!?! And this is where this post ends and your butt gets over to the PCT (post cycle therapy) thread, to learn how to recover from your cycle and then keep all of those hard earned and EXPENSIVE gains!!!! -KP PS, this just took 3 hours, I sure hope someone read this or Im going to lay some serious banning down on the new members asking questions that are answered in here.
